Jago Studios Pops Up At Gross Card Con [Photos]

GPK Artists (L to R): David Gross, Smokin’ Joe, Layron DeJarnette, Joe Simko, Brent Engstrom, Tom Bunk, Jeff Zapata

Last weekend, Jago Studios CEO Stuart Drexler had the opportunity to attend Gross Card Con in Las Vegas as a sponsor of the GPK artist panel. To celebrate the event, fans and collectors could pick up a free sticker featuring The Gateworm, a new character designed by Brent Engstrom exclusively for the game.

Meeting new and veteran GPK artists in person was a huge treat for Stuart who got to share a meal, get to know them a bit, and hear about some of their upcoming projects.

It was fantastic to experience the diversity and excitement of the collector community in person.

With GPK: The Game as our inaugural studio project, we were all so excited to see the game logo and our studio name featured on the event banner! Being able to support the artists and community as part of Gross Card Con was meaningful for our whole team.

It was so cool to see Garbage Pail Kids represented in so many different ways, including cookies baked by Joe Simko’s family and personalized GPK sketch cards from the artists!

Jeff Zapata gave Stuart the GPK treatment and we love it!

We are so thrilled to have been a part of Gross Card Con this year and are looking forward to future community events. You can read more about the event over at GPKNews.com. For folks who couldn’t make it out to GCC, we will be doing a giveaway of some of our Gateworm stickers in the near future. Keep an eye out on our social channels (@gpkgame) and sign up for our newsletter at gpkthegame.com to find out how to get one!
